What Is Cannabis?
In the beginning, Cannabis was used to make all sorts of industrial materials, including rope, paper, textile fibers, and more. The herbaceous flowering plant native to Central Asia has garnered global attention because of one variety often referred to in the U.S. as Marijuana, a type of Cannabis plant containing large amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). This phytochemical is just one of over a hundred cannabinoids found within the plant.
Shortly after the discovery of Hemp and its non-intoxicating compound, Cannabidiol (CBD), Cannabis finally made its way to the leading edge of wellness trends and became widely consumed.

Different Weed Strains
There are two primary species of cannabis, Sativa and Indica. While they share numerous similar qualities, some critical differences set them apart.
In terms of physical disparities, there are slight variations in their height, branching patterns, and color of leaves. For instance, Sativa is generally taller and has light green leaves and a woody stalk, while Indica is more of a fibrous one whose leaves are slightly darker. Another crucial distinction between the two is their CBD and THC content. Sativa has a higher level of THC. Indica, on the other hand, holds a higher CBD content. Then again, generalizing the effects of each strain is less than ideal because not all Sativa plants are stimulating, and the same goes for Indica strains.
How To Use Cannabis
Choosing the right method for consumption is paramount. Generally, vaping is one of the fastest ways to get cannabis into your system. However, if you don't feel very confident vaporizing cannabis concentrates, many other options exist. CBD is available in various product formulations, from oils and tinctures to scrumptious edibles like gummies.
